This week’s episode saw the Britain’s Next Top Model girls head international as alongside the BNTM team and glam squad, the final five flew to the fabulous city of Bangkok. Being a top model includes travelling worldwide to work for international brands, possibly at short notice and for various periods of time. This is something that our stunning client, friend and BNTM Head Judge, Abbey Clancy is fabulous at!
Welcome to Thailand!
Mr Edmonds packed his case and with Siobhan and Alfie from Paul Edmonds London by his side they headed for the airport. Alongside the BNTM crew the Paul Edmonds team boarded their flight and flew 6000 miles across the world to style the final 5 for there last opportunities to impress the judges! The team checked into their luxury home, the Lebua State Tower where they had suites over 50 floors up. The view was absolutely fabulous and something that the girls could get used to if they have what it take to be Britain’s Next Top Model.
As soon as the crew landed the girls were put straight to work in their very first ‘go-see.’ The models took to the streets of Bangkok to put their model looks to the true test… real clients!
The Photoshoot | Behind The Scenes
The team headed to traditional temples for the first photoshoot in Thailand. The BNTM girls were thrown even more into Thai culture as they modelled in authentic custom. The girls had to bring a sense of elegance and poise to their shoot to represent the brand in a professional manner while respecting the culture, location and client.

Get The Look | Hat Hair
Have you ever been put off from wearing a hat because of the way your hair lies? A hat isn’t something that you may wear everyday but for making statements and standing out from the crowd, a hat is your perfect accessory. The most simple and easiest way to keep your hair in place under a hat is to create a classic chignon. Chignons have graced events such as Ascot, Garden Parties and Weddings for years but this timeless style will ensure you ooze sophistication with any hat.
To create this chic, cocktail party look start by taking day old hair (for clean hair spray Shu Uemura Color Lustre Dry Shampoo for extra grip) and separate the hair into two. Clip the top section to hold and take the bottom section and by using a small paddle brush, smooth the hair into a low pony tail and secure with a small elastic.
Release the top section and split the hair into manageable sections. Take each section at a time and bring down while twisting the ends to the small elastic band and pin to hold. You now will have the mid lengths and ends of the hair at the bottom of the head. Roll the ends under them self and secure with a small elastic. This ensures that your final look is neat, tidy and sophisticated.
Take the bunched locks you now have and roll under from the ends. Once you reach the head pin each end of the roll and the underneath to the secured hair. To tidy up the look use a come to flatted fly aways and use Shu Uemura Sheer Lacquer Finishing Spray to hold hair into place.
This classic look can be styled in many ways, it’s totally versatile and can be bespoke to you and your look.
