Olivia Arben – Get The Look – Country & Town House January Feature

This year we are working with Country & Townhouse’s Beauty Director Nathalie Eleni for her Bright Young Thing beauty feature. The team of experts at Paul Edmonds London, luxury hair and beauty salon based in Knightsbridge and Battersea Power Station will be styling young talent for their interview and photoshoot with Nathalie. At Paul Edmonds London we loved meeting and working with up and coming talent from all industries from fashion, music and acting. The hairstyling team have styled up and coming talents such as actresses Stefanie Martini, Rosie Day, Molly Wright and Alexa Davies and the team love styling them as they grow and establish themselves. The Bright Young Thing page also focuses on up and coming talent and previous features have included likes of actress Wallis Day gracing the page.

Prep the hair using Shu Uemura Blow Dry Beautifier to protect the hair from blow-dry heat. To apply take a small amount, roughly the size of a 5p/ 10p coin depending on hair length and thickness and use your fingertips to run through towel dried mid-lengths and ends.

Using your hairdryer, rough dry your hair to it’s dry all over.

Part the hair into manageable sections and using a big round brush and hairdryer, smooth the hair all over.

In Sections again take a large tong (if you’re not sure what this is, take a look at our styling secrets blog) and curl the hair section by section and leave to cool.

Once the hair is fully tonged, spray Shu Uemura Sheer Lacquer all over. This hairspray is perfect for layering your hold amount.

When the hair has fully cooled, take a large tooth comb and comb is each section, you can also backcomb each section from the root for added volume and apply Shu Sheer Lacquer for hold.
