Monday June 1st saw Paul Edmonds showcasing some of his legendary skills at the the prestigious L’Oreal Colour Trophy 2015 Finals. It was a special event held at Battersea Evolution to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Colour Trophy and all the top names in the hair styling world were there.
Paul and our Artistic Director Vanessa Essack worked with Paul Edmonds resident Jack Howard. Jack created a head full of beautiful blonde tones for them. Their concept was architecture, which allowed the Paul and Venessa to play with the multi-tonal blonde that Jack had provided them with to show texture and versatility. They stated: “We decided to showcase our directional skills, elevate Jack’s colour and demonstrate our styling.” The resulting look audaciously combined braids and plaits that draped across the models face to showcase a flowing textured blonde wave.
Paul said, “We always look forward at Paul Edmonds London and this look expresses our brand it is contemporary, fresh, creative and draws on our core philosophy of celebrating the highest level of cutting and hairdressing skills.”
The shows by Trevor Sorbie, Percy & Read and Charlie Millier kept the 2000 attending hairdressers entertained. This was an atmosphere that Paul and his team felt perfectly at home in.
“Over the years we have lead and styled some of the best ever fashion runway shows, styled shoots, and worked for the British film and television greats. We are renowned for our excellent cuts, colours and the best blow drys around, but it is the creative where we get our inspiration and chance to pass on our skills and ethos. ”
